When a raid of this scale happens in our communities, it’s like a bomb goes off. Our team was in Morristown the day of the raid, and for the weeks that followed. As the tragedy and chaos unfolded it was a painful reminder of why our government stopped using this egregious enforcement tactic of mass worksite raids a decade before.
In partnership with the Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM) and the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) we will be offering a 40 hour, comprehensive training on immigration law for staff and members of non-profit organizations. This rigorous training is highly respected by the Department of Justice. This training is specially designed to give participants the knowledge and skills needed to provide a wide range of immigration legal services.
