TIRRC offers internships to dependable high school, college, or graduate students who are willing to dedicate regular hours over a long period of time. Interns are not required to have experience, however, they must desire to gain real skills and have an interest in immigrant and refugee rights. All internships are unpaid. Interns must be willing to work a minimum of 10 hours a week and commit to 3 months, 6 months, or a year with a specific TIRRC program. Interns must have their own transportation.
Ideal applicants are those who enjoy building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, very motivated, and can work independently with little supervision.
