General.  This Privacy Policy describes the type of information that the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition. and its affiliated entities, including TIRRC Votes (collectively, “TIRRC”) may collect for our own purposes, how we use, protect, and share that information, and the choices that you have. TIRRC and TIRRC Votes maintains strict privacy policies, ensuring that personal information of our users and members is not sold, rented, released, or traded to others without prior consent or a court order.

Types of Information We May Collect. The following provides examples of the type of information that TIRRC may collect on their own behalf:

  • IP addresses. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website, and for statistical metrics used to track website visitor traffic.

The purpose of collection and use of this data is that we use your information to perform our contract to provide you with products or services.

By providing your cell phone to TIRRC through its website you expressly consent to receiving text messages from TIRRC.

While we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information. If we are required by law to inform you of a breach to your personal information we may notify you electronically, in writing, or by telephone, if permitted to do so by law.

Some of our websites permit you to create an account. When you do you will be prompted to create a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and you are responsible for any access to or use of your account by someone else that has obtained your password, whether or not such access or use has been authorized by you.
