I Was Arrested for the Dream Act

It's been three months since the president terminated the DACA program. Already more than 11,000 DACA recipients have lost their status, their ability to work, and their protection from deportation. Every day that Congress fails to take action another 122 immigrant youth lose their DACA. This is a crisis.

All We Want for Christmas is a Clean Dream Act

'Tis the season to pass the Dream Act!
The future of over 800,000 immigrant youth is dependent on Congress passing the Dream Act. Over the weekend, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell stated “there is no crisis” prompting a legislative solution for Dreamers. That could not be further from the truth. Already, nearly 11,000 DACA recipients have lost their status. Each day that Congress fails to act, an estimated 122 additional DACA recipients lose their ability to work and are at risk of deportation.

Calling All Moms: Take Action for the Dream Act

As mothers, our priority is to keep our children safe and to help them achieve their dreams. We would do anything to ensure their  protection and well-being. That's why we're calling on all moms in Tennessee to stand in solidarity with Dreamers' Moms and urge Congress to pass a clean Dream Act now!

When's the last time you wrote a letter?

The 12 Days of #DreamAction is underway! Hundreds of Tennesseans have flooded the phone lines of Senators Alexander and Corker sharing why a clean Dream Act is on the top of their holiday wish list. There are only a few weeks left before Congress comes home for Christmas -- we need to keep the pressure on to pass a #DreamActNow!

On the fourth day of #DreamAction we're asking you to write and collect letters to our Senators. Will you take action for immigrant youth tomorrow?
