Regrouping after Special Session redistricting fallout.

In a very surprising and disappointing Special Session, the Tennessee legislature voted to strip Black and minority voters of their Congressional representation in Memphis. This action received forceful backlash and gained national attention. Our coalition partners, TIRRC, and our affiliate organization TIRRC Votes activated hundreds of volunteers and voters to oppose this redistricting.  Ultimately, it passed, creating an education gap for voters who, after already voting in a 2026 primary, now are in a new district. TIRRC Votes has started educating communities about this change, and we have already reached over 12,000 voters; the number continues to grow every day, thanks to our multicultural canvassing team.
