The clock is ticking. President Trump is set to announce his decision on whether or not to terminate the DACA program this Tuesday.
The president is facing mounting pressure to defend DACA. Joining immigrant youth and their allies in calling on the president to protect DACA and for Congress to pass the Dream Act are congressional leaders including House Speaker Paul Ryan, Florida Governor Rick Scott, CEOs from companies like Apple and Microsoft - and even by our own Attorney General Herbert Slatery who had previously been among the attorneys general threatening to sue Trump if he didn't terminate the program by September 5th.
But what about Tennessee's senators and our governor? Our rallies, calls, emails, and sharing our stories are working, but we can't let up now. We have to keep the pressure on.
Will you take 30 seconds to urge Senators Corker and Alexander and Governor Bill Haslam to come out in support of DACA and the Dream Act?
