This is it. We have 5 days to pass the Dream Act. Members of Congress are planning to adjourn for the year and go home this Friday. If they fail to pass the Dream Act before they leave, more than 15,000 youth who were protected by DACA will have lost their status and be vulnerable to deportation by the time they return in January.

That's why TIRRC youth members from cities like Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Johnson City, and Morristown traveled all the way to our nation's capitol to join thousands of immigrant youth from across the country to demand that a clean Dream Act be included in any year-end spending deal.

All week, we'll be taking powerful action and putting pressure on Congress to do their jobs and pass the Dream Act before they go home for the holidays.

Will you join us and take action to urge Congress to include the Dream Act in the year-end spending bill?  8,300 DACA recipients in Tennessee can't wait. Any delay in passing the Dream Act means deporting immigrant youth.

HERE ARE THREE WAYS YOU CAN STAND WITH US THIS WEEK:

1. Amplify our message by following us and sharing our posts on social media. Ana, a DACA recipient from Knoxville who is here in D.C., is taking over our Instagram this week!

2. Send a message
to the Tennessee congressional delegation. Echo our message and demand that they include the Dream Act in any year-end spending deal.
