Nancy was born and raised in Lima, Peru. In 2005, she moved to the United States in search of better opportunities, where she joined her family in Nashville, and she has lived here ever since. She understands how strong and important our immigrant community is to the city. Nancy is currently working on earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Global Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Because of her passion for helping others, Nancy has worked in various non-profit organizations. Before joining TIRRC staff, she worked for Neighborhood Health, providing support and services for the community. Nancy joined the TIRRC family as the Project Administrator in July of 2016. Nancy oversees our referral system, providing support to thousands of immigrant families who call our hotline each year. She supports the services team in delivering empowering services to help immigrants overcome barriers to their integration and access opportunities.
