Leticia is originally from Jalisco, Mexico and immigrated to the United States in 1996. She graduated from La Salle Catholic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Leticia has been with TIRRC since February 2006. She has a strong background in community organizing and has spent many years collaborating with a variety of progressive social justice organizations nationally and internationally, including founding projects in Mexico and Guatemala. She previously worked for Catholic Charities and served in the AmeriCorps as a Community Organizer. She is fluent in Spanish and English. In her role as Organizing Director she coordinates TIRRC's organizing and leadership development work in 24 cities across Tennessee.
