Kelly was born and raised in New York and has been working in the nonprofit and social justice fields for almost 15 years and has a background in program implementation, facilitation, systems thinking, and staff development. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mary Washington College and a Masters of Arts in Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice from Antioch University New England. Kelly’s graduate research focused on advantaged group members who engage in anti-oppression work. She is passionate about working in accountable relationships with those who are directly impacted to challenge systems that threaten our communities. Kelly joined the TIRRC team in November of 2018 as the Operations Director, and she works to set up systems and infrastructure to bolster immigrant and refugee-led work at TIRRC.
