Originally from Massachusetts, Erin worked with nonprofits in Nashville and throughout the southeastern United States serving in the AmeriCorps NCCC and VISTA programs, working on projects ranging from building houses to coordinating youth service days. Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from Connecticut College. While studying contemporary literature abroad, she honed her Mandarin skills in Beijing and Hangzhou, China. Her experiences as a global learner and a member of the nonprofit community sharpened her desire to work for a cause that advocates for immigrants’ rights and a culture of inclusive diversity. She joined the TIRRC team in April 2016 as the Operations Coordinator, where she manages TIRRC’s financial operations.
